Avocado Hemp Seed Dressing. Oil-free.

Want a simple, quick and nutritious salad dressing? Avocado = light and fluffy. Hemp = smooth and creamy. Lime = fresh! Add 2 plump, medjool dates for a hint of sweetness and you have yourself a mound of velvety, nutrient-dense deliciousness to top any salad.

You have to eat this dressing fast because it oxidizes quickly. Whenever you blend with an avocado, lots of air is created (thus the fluffiness). So make it in small batches as it won’t keep … for immediate use only.


  • 1 large avocado
  • juice of one lime
  • 1/4 cup raw hemp seeds
  • 2 medjool dates, pits removed
  • 1 cup water


  • Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
Makes 2 cups. Enjoy!

As I look outside my office window this morning there is suddenly so much GREEN! It’s wonderful… my garden greens are really coming in now, too. I can’t WAIT to be able to harvest my own lettuce, kale and collards!
