Strawberry Guava Smoothie
It’s finally warming up in the mountains! The warm breezes are a most welcome change of pace to replace the lingering cold weather we’ve had this spring. I know we just wrapped up smoothie week but I couldn’t resist making this yummy, Vitamin C-rich drink this morning as my honey and I welcomed the day on our front porch in the morning sun. As my dear friend Mel always says, “LIFE IS GOOD!”
- 2 frozen bananas
- ~ 2 cups (1 10 oz. package) frozen strawberries
- 2 cups guava juice
- ½ cup unsweetened dairy-free milk (soy, almond, hemp, etc.)
- 2 TBS flax meal
- 2 TBS hemp seeds
- 1-2 pitted medjool dates if you want it sweeter (I found it sweet enough without)
- Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.

Makes 2 smoothies. Enjoy!
